Happy November Benjamin Parents,

As a reminder, Parent-Teacher Conferences are coming up on November 4th, 7th and 14th. You will use your PowerSchool account to sign-up. This is a wonderful opportunity for teachers and parents to work together to help all of our Benjamin students. I hope to see you on one of those evenings.

Trimester Change

The end of the first trimester is November 15th. This means that on November 18th students switch their Specials classes. If your child is in Art they move to Music. If they are in Music they move to STEM. If they are in STEM they move to Art. (There are certain exceptions to these guidelines). This is also a great time of year to remind your children to be working on homework, studying for assessments, reading their AR books and turning in any missing assignments before 1st semester grades are due.

Report cards will go home on Thursday, November 21st. 

Beverages

As it gets colder outside we see an increase in students getting dropped off in the morning with full Starbucks coffees, hot chocolates, or other beverages. Please note that students are allowed to drink water in class and other outside beverages are not allowed in the classroom.

Fall Break

We have our Fall Break from November 25th to November 29th with school resuming on Monday, December 2nd. I hope all of our Benjamin families have a great Fall Break!
